Colegio Alfonsino de San Pedro AC

Colegio Alfonsino de San Pedro was founded on March, 1991. It began with Kindergarten, which consisted in Nursery and the three preschool grades. From the start, all levels (Early Stimulation, Preschool, Primary and Junior High) were credited with the Board of Education. At the pre-school the objective is to give students solid foundations for their development through teaching-learning critical, analytical, and creative thought process, fostering in them the capacity to identify and solve problems, take decisions and work as a team according to the values the school promotes.

 The school's objective in the primary stage is that students master oral and written expression, in English and Spanish, develop fundamental mathematical processes, and the knowledge of physical and social phenomena in the world around them. The school strives to develop their thought abilities, that they acquire knowledge that will help them value national and universal culture, that they develop attitudes, habits, moral values, a perfecting of their general motor capacity and their creativity through systems and teaching methodologies whose foundations are based in individual practice, cooperative learning and the search for significant learning.

 The objective at Junior High School level is to ensure students reach a mastery of oral and written communication, in English and Spanish, that they develop fundamental mathematical processes, knowledge of physical and social phenomena of the world around them, that they are capable of dominating information though organized relationships, that they develop a rational scientific sense as well as their thinking abilities, that they know and value national and universal culture, that they develop attitudes, habits, moral values, a perfecting of their creativity through leading systems and teaching methodologies to continue their education.
